A social worker with post graduate qualifications in management, Marika has held various front-line, policy and senior management roles in the community sector. Her strong commitment to social justice comes from her experience of working with some of the most marginalised people in our community. Together with her partner Jim and her children Jasmine and Alex, Marika calls the West Ward of Marrickville home.
Marika strongly believes that local government plays a critical role in engaging citizens across all areas of decision making. She wants to be part of building a contemporary, sustainable and socially just Marrickville.
Marika is a member of the NSW Greens Marrickville Group, a current member of the Guardianship Tribunal of NSW, and a member of the Mytilenean Brotherhood of NSW.
