Marrickville Council's Committee and Ordinary Council Meetings are held on the first three Tuesdays of the month. Meetings commence at 6.30pm and are held at the Marrickville Council Chambers, Level 3, 2-14 Fisher St, Petersham.

Note: the Services Committee Meeting commences at the conclusion of the Land Use, Assets and Corporate Committee Meeting.
Council holds an Extraordinary Meeting each year in September when Councillors are required to elect a Mayor and Deputy Mayor; re-adopt the meeting cycle and determine a meeting structure for the ensuing year; appoint Council Committees and appoint Councillors as representatives of Council on Special Committees, other organisations/bodies and regional organisations.
Other topic-specific Extraordinary Council Meetings may also be called throughout the year, although these are generally very infrequent.
