Dulwich Hill is an ethnically diverse, harmonious and vibrant community located just 15 minutes from the centre of Sydney.

Dulwich Hill features many delicious food shops, including European delicatessens, stylish cafes, an Italian sourdough bread shop, a Cypriot butcher, a Lebanese pastry house, a Portuguese traditional grill and a gourmet pizza shop.

You can find these shops as well as many other specialty businesses on Marrickville Road, New Canterbury Road and Seaview Street, Dulwich Hill.

Events

Dulwich Hill is home to the Dulwich Hill Street Fair, which is held every year - usually on the first Sunday in December. The event celebrates the creative community of Dulwich Hill and features free entertainment, kids' activities and stalls at Marrickville Road and Seaview Street, Dulwich Hill.

Getting to Dulwich Hill

Dulwich Hill is served by regular bus and rail services. For timetable information and a trip planner please visit the Transport Infoline website or call 131 500.

Buses

The 411, 412, 425, 426, 428 and 445 bus routes travel through Dulwich Hill. The 411 bus transports passengers from Dulwich Hill railway station to Wardell Road, near Marrickville Road.

Trains

Dulwich Hill railway station is on the Bankstown railway line network. There are frequent services to the Sydney CBD and southwestern suburbs.

Dulwich Hill Main Street Program

Dulwich Hill Main Street is a Committee of Marrickville Council that represents the businesses in the Dulwich Hill shopping precinct. The Committee is made up of local business operators and undertakes initiatives to promote local businesses by:

• Organising the annual Dulwich Hill Street Fair to promote the community of Dulwich Hill; and
• Conducting marketing and promotional activities to encourage residents to support local businesses.

Marrickville Council's Main Street Coordinator works with the Dulwich Hill Main Street Committee to facilitate the roll out of Main Street programs. Email Council's Dulwich Hill Main Street Coordinator on msco@marrickville.nsw.gov.au.
