It's time to CleanOut your household chemical clutter - the right way. CleanOut events are scheduled throughout the year, in various locations to encourage residents to dispose of unwanted household chemicals that have been residing in garages and sheds for many years, unused and unwanted.
Marrickville Council hosts this event bi-annually in May and November.
Please be advised that opening and closing times may be subject to change, so check prior to drop-off as materials will not be accepted outside these times. Please refrain from leaving chemicals outside the gate as it is dangerous and will be treated as an illegal dumping matter.
If you cannot attend on the above date, please see the 'Chemical Cleanout Flyer' at the bottom of this page for alternative dates and locations. No materials can be dropped off or accepted at Marrickville Council Works Depot prior to, or after this date unless advertised.
Not sure what to do with your old paints, gas bottles, fluorescent tubes, batteries, motor oils and household cleaners?
A FREE household chemical collection is being held for Marrickville Council residents only at Marrickville Council Works Depot, 15-17 Unwins Bridge Road on Saturday 7 November 2009 between 9am and 3:30 pm as a part of the CleanOut program, a joint initiative between Marrickville Council and the Department of Environment and Climate Change (NSW). Proof of residency will be required on the day.
