Swift Loan: Cross-library transfers and holdsLibrary members are able to place holds on items held by any libraries shown on our online catalogue. The loan items are transferring from Ashfield, Botany Bay, Burwood, Kogarah, and Strathfield Library services. This service is free of charge. eLibrary 24/7Ebooks and Audio books can be download for free from eLibrary 24/7. RenewalsRenewals are available for all items (except school resources), and are conditional upon no other library member requesting the book.

Computer and internet accessComputers are available at the library for word processing and Internet access. Bookings are essential and there is a limit of one hour per person per day. You must be a member to book these computers. Bookings can be made in person or by phone. Express Internet access is available at Marrickville Library and branches where non-members or members may use the internet for 20 minutes only. Access to our Internet facilities are free. You must not use our internet computers for illegal, actionable or criminal purposes. You must not access explicit content or content that degrades a specific gender, ethnic or racial group. All disks must be scanned for viruses before use. Email/Internet classesMarrickville Library provides regular basic Email/Internet introductory classes in community languages. Children and youth servicesMarrickville Library has a comprehensive children and youth collection. This includes easy reading picture books, school resources, multicultural language children and youth books and games. Also available are Storytime sessions, holiday activities and an education support program.
