Marrickville Community Strategic Plan
Our Place, Our Vision
In late 2010 Marrickville Council adopted the Marrickville Community Strategic Plan (Our Place, Our Vision), which outlines the key objectives and strategies for our community over the next 10 years.
This document was the result of an extensive community engagement process which included: a statistically representative community survey in April 2010; a dedicated feedback line; consultation stalls at Australia Day and the Bairro Português Food & Wine Fair community events; consultation with Advisory and Consultative Committees; a specially designed MyPlace 2021 web forum; and a public exhibition of the completed draft Plan in October and November 2010.
The final Community Strategic Plan is based on this engagement and direct quotes and comments from community members are woven throughout the document.
