Council is divided into 5 major business areas:

  • General Manager's Unit
    Communications, corporate development, human resources, economic development and major projects
     
  • Community Services
    Cultural and recreation  services, community development, children and family services, Tom Foster Community Centre, meals on wheels, and library and history services
     
  • Corporate Services
    Administration, legal, finance, property services, customer service and information technology
     
  • Planning and Environmental Services
    Health and building inspections, environmental services, town planning and development assessment
     
  • Infrastructure Services
    Asset planning and management, design and investigations, civil works, landscaping, waste and recycling, parks, sportsfields and streetscapes
