Through local leisure programs and facilities including the Debbie and Abbey Borgia Recreation Centre, local aquatic facilities and the various community halls, Council aims to encourage participation in the various recreational activities available in Marrickville.

  • Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre, Enmore Park
    A state-of-the-art facility, which opened after refurbishment in December 2010, with a 50 metre pool, learn-to-swim and leisure pools, a cafe, multi-purpose room/crèche, and a wellness centre (including fitness and gym facilities).
     
  • Fanny Durack Pool, Petersham Park
    A 33-metre outdoor swimming pool with a kiosk and outdoor recreation areas
     
  • The Debbie and Abbey Borgia Recreation Centre
    Multi-purpose recreational complex located at Steel Park, Marrickville South.
     
  • Robyn Webster Sports Centre
    An indoor sporting complex located at Tempe Reserve.
     
  • Waterplay Park
    An exciting recreational and environmental facility at Steel Park in Marrickville South, providing a fun playground for children in summer months with water fountains and sprinklers, as well as demonstrating the water cycle in action.
