Important notice

The Green Living Centre shopfront will be closed from Tuesday 16 April while it undergoes a serious makeover. When we return in May we'll have ramp access to make everyone's lives easier. We'll also have new recycling boxes and displays, including an interactive demonstration of the very latest in LED lighting. The best part? The whole new look is achieved with sustainable materials including bamboo, low VOC paint, LEDs and reused furniture.

The workshop program will continue as scheduled, and you'll still be able to contact us by phone, email and Facebook with any enquiries. We'll also continue to work with our amazing volunteers on a number of projects.


Green Living Centre Bike Library

The Green Living Centre Bike Library has a fleet of specialist cargo bikes and trailers available for loan to allow bike riders to carry things that might otherwise require a car - from shopping, to kids, household items and more.

  • A large capacity bike perfect for hauling kids and shopping
  • Electric assist 
  • The Cabby tub seats two children with seatbelts and has maximum load of 75kg
  • Optional extras (at no additional charge) include a sturdy shadecover to protect your kids while they sit in the front tub on sunny days, and a waterproof cover to keep them dry in the rain.

eZee SprinteZee Sprint

  • A commuter electric bike
  • Pedal assist (throttle and continual assist dial)
  • Battery lasts from 40km – 80km (depending upon duration and level of assist used)
  • Built in lights and dual locking system

Xtracycle Radish cargo bikeXtracycle Radish cargo bike

  • A highly versatile cargo bike
  • The Xtracycle has a long wheel base, a large wooden platform behind the seat, and super size panniers
  • Optional 'wings' can also be borrowed (at no extra charge) which slot in at the base on either side, and can carry your moving boxes or additional cargo.
  • Not suitable for transporting children

  • Connects to most standard bicycles

  • A child bike trailer equipped with seats and seatbelts to carry one or two children

  • Maximum load of 36kg
