The Green Living Centre's FREE workshops and activities empower you with the knowledge and skills to make practical changes toward sustainable living. The workshops and activities are an opportunity to meet like-minded members of your local community, share ideas and together make changes for sustainability.

Worm farming
Convert your kitchen scraps to garden gold! Learn everything you need to know to confidently start and maintain your own worm farm at home.
No Dig Gardening
Grow your own food in small spaces such as containers, pots and balconies with this easy method. Participants construct and take home a No Dig garden in a container as part of the workshop.

We have found the workshops fantastic - they are informative and practical.
We are using what we have learnt everyday. We have a very small outdoor space at home and doing the Composting and Worm Farming and No Dig Gardening workshops have allowed us to have our own garden in our urban environment.
Our new baby came with a lot of plastic and disposable packaging - the Natural Baby Care workshop gave us some easy alternatives for a more sustainable baby lifestyle. We have taken everything on board and hope that our baby also learns to become eco-friendly.
