Green Waste
Marrickville Council provides a fortnightly green waste collection service to houses and units in the Marrickville Local Government Area. The green waste collection service is part of a comprehensive waste strategy designed to provide a more convenient way for residents to reduce their waste and recycle more garden waste.
Houses and Units are provided with a choice of either a 140L lime green lidded green waste bin (same size as your red lidded garbage bin) or 240L lime green lidded green waste bin (same size as your yellow lidded recycling bin).
Your green waste bin is collected fortnightly.
