Green Living Centre
From April 2012 The Watershed changed its name to the Green Living Centre. The Green Living Centre looks forward to continuing the great work of the Watershed.
The Green Living Centre is a sustainability resource centre in the heart of Newtown. The Green Living Centre is dedicated to growing a culture of environmental sustainability within the urban community.
The Green Living Centre is free and open to the public and offers a variety of services such as a library, free workshops, practical ideas for everyday sustainable living, educational and business programs.
The Green Living Centre is a joint initiative of City of Sydney and Marrickville Council, and part of an ongoing commitment to supporting sustainable environments.
We hope that a visit to the Green Living Centre will inspire you to take action for a sustainable future.

Along with retailers offering vintage and second hand clothing, the guide includes businesses which offer clothing alterations and repairs, second-hand books and CDs, antiques and furniture as well as computer and white good repairs.
