Hall and Facility Hire

In order to meet the diverse needs of our community, Marrickville Council offers a range of halls and facilities for hire.

Whether you are looking for a large hall for a concert, wedding or party, or just need a room to hold a regular community group meeting, Council has a facility to suit your needs.

Centrally located and reasonably priced, with subsidies for charities and local not-for-profit community groups, your local halls and facilities are the perfect places for your next event or meeting.

Bookings from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014

Expressions of Interest are NOW open for regular venue hire from 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014.

Council is calling for expressions of interest for the regular hire of its community venues for the period of 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014.
A regular hire consist of five (5) or more dates booked at once at any of Council's community venues. In order to apply for regular bookings during the period of 1 July 2013 to 30 June 2014, you are required to submit your Community Venue Booking along with supporting documents as specified on the form and in the terms and conditions of hire.

Applicants who can demonstrate beneficial outcomes to a large proportion of Marrickville residents and a history of compliant hire in accordance with Council's terms and conditions will be highly regarded.

Please note that all applications for regular hire must include evidence of public liability insurance coverage of $20,000,000 and applicants who are applying under a concession category must also supply evidence of their status and location.
