Library Fees and Charges

Below is a comprehensive list of library fees and charges inclusive of GST.

 

Overdue Loans

  • Library and History members 25c per day to a maximum of $10.30
  • Overdue recovery $15.00

 

Lost and Damaged Materials

  • Replacement cost for lost/damaged library card $5.30
  • Lost/Damaged Materials (cost plus service fee) $10.70
  • Payment for Damaged CD/DVD cases $1.50 per item
  • Item returned without Inlay / damaged Inlay $8.00
  • Replacement charge for lost magazines (not refundable) $15.20

 

Interlibrary Loan 

  • Standard Inter Library Loan request fee (Swift Consortium) $6.20

Interlibrary Loans from Charging Libraries as per ILRS code

  • Loan of Original Material $15.50
  • Loan of Interstate material $15.50
  • Supply of Photocopy up to 30 pages $10.60
  • Supply of Photocopy in excess of 30 pages (Max. 50) $14.10

  • Standard A4 (dependent when network PCs to copier) $0.20
  • Standard A3 (dependent when network PCs to copier) $0.40

  • Colour A4 (dependent when network PCs to copier) $2.00
  • Colour A3 (dependent when network PCs to copier) $4.00

  • Local per page $2.65
  • Local per page-Pensioner Card/Health Care Card Holder $1.30

Microfiche Printer

  • Microfiche use per sheet $0.20

 

Research Fee

  • Including On-line cost and staff costs - this is a value-added service, separate from freely available core services
    and cover services such as extended research for family and local history requests - per hour $100.00

House History Research

  • Charge per hour for the first 2 hours research $200.00
  • Additional charge per hour or part thereof (after first 2 hours) $125.00
  • Charge per hour for the first 2 hours research-Pensioner Card/Health Care Card Holder  $100.00
  • Additional charge per hour or part thereof-Pensioner Card/Health Care Card Holder $62.50
    (after first 2 hours)

 

Photographic Product

Private Use Digital Images: 

  • Digital less than 1mb at 300dpi sent via email $15.00
  • Digital less than 1mb at 300dpi sent via email - Pensioner Card/Health Care Card Holder $7.50
  • Publications titles as available $2.50

Commercial Use Digital Images:

  • Digital less than 1mb at 300dpi sent via email $50.00

  • Library bags - 'At Your Library' bags $1.00
  • Activities (excludes Baby Rhyme Time, regular Storytime and Homework Help) - prices vary to maximum $10.00 per person
  • Activities-Pensioner Card/Health Care Card Holder - prices vary to maximum $5.00 per person
