Pedestrian, Cyclist and Traffic Calming Advisory Committee

The Pedestrian, Cyclist and Traffic Calming Advisory Committee advises Council on traffic and parking control matters for which Council has been delegated authority from NSW Roads & Maritime Services (formerly the RTA).

This committee is made up of four voting members - Council, a NSW Police representative, a Roads & Maritime Services representative, and the Local Member of NSW Parliament. The committee may also include additional (non-voting) advisors, such as representatives of bus operators and other transport groups.

Recommendations from the committee are made on technical grounds, and these are then escalated to Council's Assets Committee for decision.

The Committee meets on monthly basis, on the 4th Tuesday of every month at 1.30pm, at Council's Administrative Centre located at 2-14 Fisher Street, Petersham.
