Preschool Storytime

Preschool Storytime is held weekly at Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, St. Peters/Sydenham and Stanmore libraries during school terms. Click here to download calendar.

Bookings are essential.  Please call the library you wish to attend after 9.30am on the day (bookings before 9.30am will not be accepted.) Session times and booking details are listed below.
 
The telephone line can get quite busy during the hour so if you get a message bank, please leave your child’s name, a contact number and the session time you would like to attend.  If we don’t call you back, you are guaranteed a spot.

Preschool storytime

Preschool storytime is held at the following times:

    Wednesdays 10.15am and 11.00am

      Magic Yellow Bus storytime
  • St Peters/Sydenham

Each session consists of:

  • a general theme
  • songs and rhymes  
  • several stories read aloud 
  • a simple craft activity for your child 

Storytime @ Magic Yellow Bus

Join the Library Fairy for some Storytime fun at the park with Magic Yellow Bus.  The Library Fairy will visit in 2012.  Further details will be provided closer to the day.     

Storytime guidelines

  • Plan to arrive on time so your child doesn't miss anything.
  • Stay with your child and listen to the stories. Join in with the songs and rhymes.
  • Please remember that background noise is distracting for the children and the storyteller.
