Expressions of Interest for Community Representatives

Council is seeking expressions of interest from community members within the Marrickville Council area to participate in Council's Floodplain Management Advisory Committee.

The purpose of the committee is to assist Council to implement the NSW Flood Prone Lands Policy, which seeks to minimise losses resulting from floods. The role of the committee is to oversee the development and implementation of Council policies and strategies to manage flooding risks and make recommendations to Council on courses of action.

Expressions of interest close on Friday 25 September 2009. A nomination form and information package can be downloaded below.
