- fire extinguishers
- hobby and pool chemicals

Please pack unwanted chemicals in secure containers and carefully transport the wastes to the drop off point to ensure that the chemicals do not leak or spill.

Support the Australian Red Cross by donating blood at the Mobile Blood Service. One in 3 people will need a blood donation in their life but only one in three people regularly donate blood. The Australian Red Cross needs 21,000 blood donations each week to meet the demands of hospitals across Australia. Every time you donate blood you help save 3 lives.
Marrickville Council encourages citizens to donate blood for this worthy cause. No appointment is necessary however a donor card or photo ID will be required. New donors are welcome and should ensure that they consume four glasses of water and eat a good sized meal in the hours before donating blood. For more information call the donation hotline on 131495 or visit www.donateblood.com.au. |
