Max grew up in Sydney's Inner West and has lived in the Marrickville area for over a decade. He has an honours degree in Political Science from the University of Sydney. He has worked as a postman, as an administrator and as a policy adviser for Greens Senator Kerry Nettle.

    Priorities

My number one priority is stopping dangerous climate change. I believe action at a local community level can make a difference. I will work to make Marrickville Council a leader in implementing local solutions to reduce our carbon footprint.

I'd like to implement policies to encourage walking, bicycle use and public transport and reduce traffic in our community.  I would also like to see more public art brought out into the community.
