Marrickville Council holds a range of free events throughout the year that promote and support the development of sustainable living within the Marrickville area.
Come to a Groundwork Gathering and explore this one big question together.
Bring along ideas about the issues and opportunities you think are important to make our local environment more sustainable. All ideas are the right ideas and all who attend are the right people to be there.
The event kicks off with a free vegetarian lunch. Expect a gathering where you connect with like-minded people, share your ideas and develop them into reality. This might be a project, a new group or activity, a network... it's up to you.
This event is a must for people who want to breathe clean air, grow food, plant trees, see clean streets, get to know people, try something new, connect with community, watch birds and help nature grow and thrive in Marrickville now and into the future. Importantly, this event is for people that are ready to do something and to do it with others.
Bring your ideas about how we make our local environment the best it could be. We will bring the rest.
