Free IELTS workshops at your library

These free IELTS workshops will focus on the technical strategies of both the General and Academic IELTS including listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. The seven workshops will be presented by IELTS experts. Bookings are required, and should be made as a package for all sessions. For more information, please call 9335 2173.

Managing your money – information talks presented in community languages

To be presented in Vietnamese and Mandarin by a Centrelink representative, these talks will offer tips on how to manage finances and provide important information regarding the costs associated with aged care.

Multicultural collection

Marrickville Library & History Services holds collections in Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic. These collections include books, DVDs, CDs, magazines and newspapers. We regularly hold information events covering a wide area of subjects including: legal, tax, lifestyle and health. Events are held in English and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) languages for accessibility.
