Marrickville Library & History Services holds collections in Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic. These collections include books, DVDs, CDs, magazines and newspapers.
The State Library of NSW holds collections in more than 40 community languages. These collections are loaned free of charge to the people of NSW through the public library network.
We regularly hold information events covering a wide area of subjects including: legal, tax, lifestyle and health. Events are held in English and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) languages for accessibility.
Held in partnership with Department of Human Services, the Centrelink information talks will cover the Commonwealth Seniors Health Care card, income and assets, rent assistance, the Centrelink Multilingual line, the bereavement allowance and more.

The International Film Club will screen movies from around the globe on the first Tuesday of each month, 10am - 1pm at Marrickville Town Hall.
