Marrickville Library & History Services holds collections in Greek, Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic. These collections include books, DVDs, CDs, magazines and newspapers.

Items in other languages

The State Library of NSW holds collections in more than 40 community languages. These collections are loaned free of charge to the people of NSW through the public library network.

We regularly hold information events covering a wide area of subjects including: legal, tax, lifestyle and health. Events are held in English and CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) languages for accessibility.

Tech Savvy Seniors Training Program in Vietnamese 

To be held in Vietnamese language, these classes will teach local seniors how to use a computer, the Internet and social media. The program will show how to stay connected to family, friends and the community. Attendees can enter a draw to win an iPad.

Screening films from all over the world

The International Film Club will screen movies from around the globe on the first Tuesday of each month, 10am - 1pm at Marrickville Town Hall.

Please note: All films will be shown in original language with English subtitles.
