  • Friends of the Cooks River Valley Garden
    A monthly working group of volunteers that carry out planting, weeding and mulching for the recently-established native flora garden at Tempe Reserve.
     
  • Friends of Camperdown Cemetery
    Volunteer group that meets monthly to maintain a patch of threatened native bushland near St Stephen's Church in Newtown, adjacent to Camperdown Memorial Rest Park.
     
  • 2007 Fauna Study
    Findings from a fauna study around several sites in the Marrickville local government area, along with the recommendations presented to Council as a result of the study.
     
  • Marrickville Landcare Group
    A group of volunteers that run monthly working-bees to plant locally-occurring native flora at three key project sites in the Marrickville LGA.
     
  • Marrickville Community Nursery
    Council's community nursery, aiming to promote biodiversity of the local area through growing and selling plants native to the Lower Cooks River Valley.
     
  • National Tree Day
    An annual Australia-wide initiative supported by Marrickville Council.
