Summary of business

Roseville Joinery is a window and door manufacturer.

Sustainability Vision

Roseville Joinery will be sustainable by using recycled timbers, plantation pine products, sustainable forest products, and by recycling their waste.

Waste to Landfill

50% of operational waste has been diverted from landfill.

  • 78m3 was sent to landfill in 2003.
  • 38m3 was sent to landfill in 2007.

This 50% reduction in waste to landfill was achieved by diverting sawdust to another organisation for use in organic fertilizers.

Other waste reduction initiatives include:

  • Recycling of aluminium cans.
  • Giving timber off-cuts to people and employees with fire places.

Further waste segregation and reduction work is planned for the future.

Other Sustainability Initiatives

Some doors and windows are made from recycled timber, plantation timber and timber from eco-forestry programs.
