Notice regarding wet weather closures of sports grounds

Council may need to close sporting fields on occasion due to wet weather, in order to prevent damage to the playing field and grounds. Council maintains a wet weather information line, which can be reached on telephone 9335 2299. Wet weather information is updated daily after 2pm.

It is the responsibility of sports clubs to check this information prior to their use of the field, in the event of current or recent wet weather.
