| Prize Winners for 2007 |
Marrickville Council's Spring Garden Competition runs yearly. Residents and businesses are invited to enter this great community event - whether a beginner gardener or a horticulturalist, whether you have a courtyard garden or a large backyard.
Starting from 2006 all entrants were also entered automatically in a new water-efficient garden category, with judges looking for water-saving measures in garden design in light of mandatory water restrictions in Sydney.
Entries for this year closed on Thursday 13 September 2007. All gardens were judged on design and layout, plant selection, plant health and maintenance.
