The new design plans have been prepared in response to community feedback on the designs exhibited for public comment in May and June 2008. The public response to the initial concept design identified a range of planning and design issues for Council to consider. In response to this feedback, Council supported a series of design changes at its meeting on Tuesday 17 June 2008, and approved these changes at the meeting of Tuesday 16 December 2008.
