Public exhibition of the Draft GreenWay Masterplan & Coordination Strategy

Working together to build a living corridor

GreenWay corridorThe draft Masterplan and Coordination Strategy for the Cooks River to Iron Cove GreenWay outlines a vision and action plan for development of the GreenWay as a sustainable transport corridor, incorporating a 5km GreenWay Trail.

The draft Strategy will be on public exhibition from Wednesday 1 April 2009 to Friday 29 May 2009 at Marrickville, Leichhardt and Ashfield Councils.

In the Marrickville local government area, the draft Strategy can be viewed in the following locations:

  • Marrickville Council Citizens' Service Centre, Ground Floor, 2-14 Fisher Street, Petersham
  • Marrickville Library, corner Marrickville and Petersham Roads, Marrickville
  • Dulwich Hill Branch Library, 12-14 Seaview Street, Dulwich Hill

Experience the GreenWay for yourself

Join us on Saturday 18 April 2009 for a walking tour of the Greenway corridor. A bus will depart Leichhardt Town Hall at 9:30am, returning at 11:30am. The tour is free but bookings are essential. Call 9367 9220 to reserve your place.

Join us at a Community Forum

During the exhibition period, there will also be two community workshops:

  • Monday 6 April: 6-8pm in the Marrickville Council Function Room, Level 3 Marrickville Council, 2-4 Fisher Street, Petersham.
  • Monday 4 May: 4:30-6pm in the Supper room, first floor, Leichhardt Town Hall, corner Norton and Marion Streets, Leichhardt.
