Marrickville library service provides a large selection of children's books, music CDs, CD-ROMs, DVDs, videos, talking books, and kits (books and cassettes or CDs) for loan. Marrickville Library's collection caters for pre-schoolers, beginner readers and young children.

A bulk loan service is available on a regular cycle and materials are delivered to schools/centres to supplement their available resources.
school visits
Marrickville Library Service welcomes school groups to visit the library. Please contact us on 9335 2175, or by e-mail at libcl@marrickville.nsw.gov.au. to arrange a session.
