Storytime

Preschool Storytime is held weekly at Marrickville, Dulwich Hill, St. Peters/Sydenham and Stanmore Libraries during school terms. Storytime is an opportunity for preschool children and their parents/carers to share the joys of literature, language, rhythm and rhyme.
Bookings are essential. Please call the library branch you wish to attend at around 9.30am on the day.

Each session consists of:

• a general theme
• songs and rhymes
• several stories read aloud
• a simple craft activity for your child (they will sometimes need your assistance

Storytime guidelines

• Plan to arrive on time so your child doesn't miss anything.
• Stay with your child and listen to the stories. Join in with the songs and rhymes.
• Please remember that background noise is distracting for the children and the storyteller.
