Library Fees and Charges

Below is a comprehensive list of library fees and charges inclusive of GST.

Fax Service

Sending

For non pensioner/health care card holders:

  • per page (local)  $2.55
  • per page (STD)   $3.95 

For pensioner/health care card holders:

  • per page (local)  $1.30
  • per page (STD)   $2.00

Receiving 

For non pensioner/health care card holders:

  • Each subsequent page  60 cents per page (inclusive for up to 5 pages): $2.55

For pensioner/health care card holders:

  • Each subsequent page  35 cents per page (inclusive for up to 5 pages): $1.30 

Photocopying

Black & white

  • A4 per page  $0.20
  • A3 per page  $0.40 

Colour

  • A4 per page $3.30
  • A3 per page $4.40 

Overdue fines

The late return of items incurs the following fines:

  • Children's Card: Start at  $0.50 (Increment Daily by $0.10 per day, maximum $7.25)
  • Adult's Card: Start at         $0.50 (Increment Daily by $0.25 per day, maximum $7.25)

Fines may only be paid once items have been processed upon return to the library.

Members with outstanding overdue items or fines will NOT be able to borrow from the library.

Information Delivery

Including On-line cost and staff costs - this is a value-added service, seperate from freely available core services and cover services such as marketing information for business.  Actual cost plus 25% + GST

Inter-Library Loan fees

  • ILL Request Fee:                                                                           $  2.55
  • Charging Libraries Fee (loan of original material):                $13.60
  • Supply of Photocopy up to 30 pages:                                        $10.20
  • Supply Photocopy in excess of 30 pages (max. 50 pages): $13.60
  • ILL Item Returned without Strap:                                                $  6.05
  • Bulk book hire for commercial uses (per item)                       $  3.30

Miscellaneous

  • Library Bags:                                                                       $  1.00
  • Lost cards:                                                                           $  1.40
  • Lost/Damaged Fee (cost plus service fee):                  $  6.85
  • Item returned without Inlay/damaged Inlay:                   $  7.70
  • Replacement Charge for Magazine (not refundable): $14.65
  • Missing Barcode:                                                                $  0.70
  • Missing RFID tags:                                                             $  1.65
  • Printing A4 Black & White:                                                 $  0.20
