School holiday activities

Youth activities are held during each school holiday period - please check our events pages during week 10 of the school term. Please e-mail our Youth and Schools Librarian at libyl@marrickville.nsw.gov.au for further information.  The holiday programme for January will be available mid-late December.

Teen summer reading challenge

Marrickville Library Services runs a summer reading challenge each year beginning in December to encourage teenagers to read and have fun during summer holidays.

Chess & Checkers

How many games can you win? Play with friends or test your playing skills. This is a great opportunity to make new friends and win prizes. The club is open to primary and high school-aged students. No need to book - just come and play! It's held every Friday during school term, 3.30pm at Marrickville Library.
