Responsible Cat Ownership

• Ensure your cat is microchipped from the time the cat is 12 weeks old or earlier if they are sold or given away
• Ensure your cat is Lifetime Registered by the time they are 6 months of age or when they are sold or given away
• Desexing your cat will prevent unwanted kittens and minimise cat population problems, excessive roaming and unwanted territorial behaviour
• Protect native animals by attaching two bells to your cats collar and keeping your cat inside between dusk and dawn and monitoring your cats activities during the day
• If you go on holidays ensure that you make arrangements for a responsible person to stay with your cat or place your cat in a boarding facility.
