Community Facility Hire Fees

Concession rates can be applied to a maximum of five (5) hours per day, three (3) bookings per week, and five (5) weekend bookings at town halls per calendar year. Thereafter, commercial rates apply.
Eligibility for concession rates is outlined in the Terms and Conditions of Hire; proof is required for all concessions.
Regular hire rate is applicable to groups who book 5 or more hire dates per calendar year at once.
Consecutive days' hire require 8 hours payment per day to retain the venue overnight.
Casual hirers will be given preference and regular hirers must surrender booking if required by Council.
Cancellation charge: 10% of hire cost. If within a month of event: 50% of hire cost. If within 7 days: 100% of hire cost.

Petersham and Marrickville Town Halls

Weekday fee is for Monday through to 5pm Friday
Weekend fee commences 5pm on Friday and includes Saturday, Sunday and public holidays - minimum hire 3 hours
New Year's Eve hire rate is for 12 hours; $215 for each additional hour. Venue to be vacated by 2am on 1 January
