Free Booked Waste Collection

Marrickville Council offers a free clean up service 52 weeks of the year; all you need to do is make a booking online or contact the Citizens' Service Centre on 9335 2137.

To allow Marrickville Council to recycle where possible, this service is provided in three separate categories:

1. General clean up
2. White goods/Metal goods collection
3. Green waste

You may book either collection, but there will be different collection days for either type of collection. The service when booked in by you, will normally be provided the next week and you will be given the date of your collection at the time of booking.

When booking a Whitegoods/Metal goods collection, you will need to place it out on the next available Monday night as advised by the operator and collection will then take up to four days from that Monday to be picked up. When a General clean up or green waste collection is booked, the date that you are advised by the operator is the day the items will be picked up and you need to ensure items are placed out neatly the night before.
